Vít has graduated from the Charles University with a Master’s degree in Law and jurisprudence and a Bachelor’s degree in French philology. While studying law at the University Vít has spent a one-year study exchange program (Erasmus+) at the Université Paris II Pantéhon-Assas where he specialized in French law with an emphasis on contract law and business law. In 2019 Vít has returned to Université Paris II Pantéhon-Assas in order to follow up on his previous studies at the University while pursuing a two-year Master’s degree in the European union law. Under this program Vít has specialized in the study of the European union’s policies such as the Economic and monetary union, the European union’s common trade and agricultural policies or the European union’s external relations policy. When studying at the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Vít has also focused on the study of the European competition law, the international investment law or the European and French international private law.
Vít started to gain professional experience during his university studies. In the second grade of his Master’s program he completed his internship at the District court for Prague 7 and later he worked as a legal assistant in a law firm. While working in the law firm he provided legal services in the areas of contract law, enforcement law and inheritance law. While completing his legal internship at the European Court of justice in Luxembourg, Vít has started to translate legal texts from the English and French languages to the Czech language. He has further developed his expertise in European law while working as an intern within the Czech judge’s office at the European Union’s Tribunal in Luxembourg and later within the Czech Agent's bureau for the Czech Republic before the Court of justice of the EU at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. After graduating from University, Vít has applied the legal expertise he had previously acquired through his work for national and international judicial bodies when he integrated the Prague’s regional court as a legal assistant for an insolvency department judge.
After returning from abroad, Vít has joined the KOUBÍKOVÁ LEGAL law firm in May 2021 as a lawyer.
